FABULOUS FOOD,THE SUNDAY LUNCH HAD GRAVY TO DIE FOR! THE REAL ALE IS SUPERB. THE LOCALS ARE REALLY FRIENDLY AND GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO MAKE YOU FEEL WELCOME. THE STAFF ARE VERY JOLLY AND HELPFUL. THEY PUT UP WITH OUR PARTY OF 7 NOISY WOMEN WALKERS LIKE TRUE PROFESSIONALS! A GREAT PLACE TO VISIT! THANKS.

Fabulous pub. The food was excellent value for money and very tasty. All staff were very pleasant and helpfull. Even the locals were friendly and talkative. When we were there, the Beers were Abbot ale, and Green King with a different geust beer both days, all very nice. Children were made welcome and thier food was fresh and relativley healthy, (home made chicken nuggets in breadcrumbs, not Birds eyes in batter.)Out of the establishments in the area we went to I would give these at least a 9 out of 10 and most definatley go back again.
